1 Pastry Roll, thawed
1 cup grated Cheddar Cheese
2 tablespoons Butter
2 tablespoons Flour
1 cup Milk
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
1/4 teaspoon Paprika (optional)
1 Egg (for egg wash)

Instructions:
Instructions:Preheat your oven to 190°C.
Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
Roll out Pastry on a lightly floured surface to smooth out any creases.
Cut the pastry into 9 equal squares.
In a medium saucepan, melt the Butter over medium heat.
Add the Flour and stir continuously for about 1-2 minutes to form a roux.
Gradually whisk in the Milk, ensuring there are no lumps.
Continue to cook and stir until the mixture thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
Add the grated Cheese, Salt, Pepper, and Paprika (if using). Stir until the cheese is completely melted and the sauce is smooth.
Remove the cheese sauce from the heat and let it cool slightly.
Place cheese sauce in the center of each puff pastry square.
Fold each square into a smaller square, sealing the edges by pressing with a fork or crimping with your fingers.
Place the filled puff pastry squares on the prepared baking sheet.
Beat the egg and brush the tops of the puff pastry squares.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.
Remove the squares from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
Serve warm.
