Caramel Oat Cookies

Ingredients:

1½ Cups Supreme Cake Flour
1½ Cups CAB Foods Coarse Oats
½ Cup Coconut Fine
1 Cup White Sugar
½ Teaspoon Salt
1 Cup Marvello Butter Flavoured Spread (Cubed)
1 Can Nestle Caramel Treat


Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a 25 x 29 cm baking pan.
2. Combine Cake Flour, Oats, Coconut Fine, White Sugar and Salt in a bowl.
3. Cube Butter and add to bowl.
4. Mix together until you reach a dough consistency.
5. Set aside ½ cup of the dough and wrap in plastic wrap and freeze for
30 minutes.
6. Press the remaining dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan and bake for 20 minutes.
7. Remove from oven and spread the caramel over the base.
8. Grate the reserved frozen dough over the caramel and bake for
25 – 30 minutes or until golden brown.
9. Remove from the oven and allow to cool, before cutting into squares.
