Stuffed, sealed, and baked to golden glory. This ham, cheese & mushroom calzone is the lovechild of pizza and comfort food — and yes, it is as good as it sounds. Pair it with our punchy house-made pizza sauce and thank us later.


Ingredients:

Recipe for 1 Calzone

1 ready-made pizza base

½ cup pizza sauce

½ cup ham, chopped

½ cup chopped mushrooms

1 cup grated cheese pizza mix

½ tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning

Olive oil for brushing





 


Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 220°C.
Roll out the pizza base slightly if needed to make it more pliable.
Spread pizza sauce over half the base, leaving a 1–2 cm border.
Layer with ham, mushrooms, and cheese. Sprinkle with oregano.
Fold the dough over to form a half-moon. Press and crimp the edges to seal.
Brush the top with olive oil and sprinkle with Parmesan if using.
Bake on a parchment-lined tray for 12–15 minutes, or until golden and crisp.
Repeat this step for every base you have.
