Fresh, warm bagels from your own kitchen – no bakery run needed!
These quick homemade bagels are soft, chewy, and ready in no time – perfect for breakfast, lunch, or meal prep. Whether you’re just craving something delicious, this recipe is your new go-to.


Ingredients:

2 ¼1/4 Cups of Warm water


1 tbsp Sugar


1 ½1/2 tbsp instant Yeast


5 Cups Cake Flour


2 tsp Salt



Instructions:

Add Warm water, sugar and yeast to a bowl and mix well.
Allow the mixture to sit for 10 minutes with a cloth covering the mixture.
After 10 minutes add the mixture to flour and salt mixture.
Mix together until a dough forms.
place the dough onto your counter and begin to knead. Knead for 10 minutes.
Section the dough into the desired amount of bagels.
Allow the sectioned dough to rest for 15 minutes.
In order to create the holes for the balls. Gently push your fingers through the centre to create the hole.
Once shaped, allow the bagel dough to rest for 30 minutes.
Place a large pot of hot water onto the stove.
Preheat your oven at 180 Degrees.

Bring the water to a boil, place each bagel into the water for
1-2 minutes per side.

Place the prepared bagels onto a lined baking tray.
Cover in egg-wash and immediately add your desired topping.
Toppings can be everything bagel seasoning ,cheese or jalapeno’s.
Bake for 25-30 minutes
Baking times may vary due to oven temperatures. Check the bagels regularly.
