There’s no better bread than the traditional South African Ouma Bread. Take a bite out of Ouma’s kitchen with this easy to use, just add lukewarm water premix! It is important to note that the temperature of the water activates the yeast so ensure your water is not too hot or too cold.

What to add:

  • 500 ml lukewarm Water
  • 10 g Yeast (Provided)

Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 180° C.
  • Add Yeast (provided) and Premix to a mixing bowl.
  • Add 500 ml lukewarm Water and mix well.
  • Pour into prepared tin (21×10 cm loaf pan).
  • Leave to rise for 30 min in a warm area until double the size.
  • Bake in preheated oven at 180° C for ± 1hour or until baked.
