Kit Includes:
Churro Premix 160 g, Cinnamon & Sugar Mix 30 g, Piping Bag.
What to add:
250 ml Water, 100 g Butter, 2 large Eggs
Instructions:
1. Pre-heat oven to 180° C. Line baking tray with baking paper.
In a saucepan add 250 ml Water and 100 g Butter and mix on medium heat until Butter has melted.
2. Allow Butter and Water mixture to boil and then reduce the heat.
3. Add Churros Premix to the Butter and Water mixture in saucepan and combine until you reach a dough like ball texture.
4. Keep mixing for one minute on low heat. Remove from heat
and mix for an additional 2 minutes.
5. Once cooled, add each Egg in one at a time and mix into dough.
6. Once the egg has been mixed through, add the mixture to a
piping bag (provided) with a nozzle. (We recommend using a star shaped nozzle)
7. Pipe the mixture onto a baking tray, cutting the dough to the desired length, we recommend 6-7cm per churro.
8. Sprinkle a small amount of water onto the baking tray. (This creates steam resulting in puffy churros)
9. Bake for 20-22 minutes in the oven.
10. Open the oven to allow the steam to release.
11. Leave the baking tray in the oven with the door closed for 10 more minutes for churros to brown.
11. Remove from oven and roll in Cinnamon and Sugar mix.
Churros should be enjoyed while still warm from the oven.
